Identity

In the “Name” and “Code” fields you specify default strings used when you create a new folder. Note, however, that the default code is only used if you leave the “Auto code” option unchecked. If the “Auto code” option is checked, DynRisk will generate a code for you based on the code of the parent folder and the number of objects in this folder.  In particular if you create a new folder inside a folder with code “A” and the new folder is the sixth object in the old folder, the auto code for this folder would be “A.06”.

The “View” and “Sort” popup menus are used to select default settings for these attributes.

The view type of a folder can be changed by using the corresponding commands in the “Special” menu. The following options are available:

	• Graphical view
	• Node table view
	• Simulation view
	• Edge table view

The sort type of a folder can be changed by using the corresponding command in the “Sort” submenu of the “Special” menu. The following options are available:

	• By name
	• By code
	• By unit
	• By kind
	• By creation
	• By revision

Note that you can only change the sort type of a folder when the view type of the folder is either “Node table view” or “Simulation view”.
